I used that name because my emails have that name and it's easier to only have a couple of user names. My first ever email address was the university one and they gave me the name caodgers based on my name, and I've just stuck with it.
And Cosmos would be ......?
Cosmos is the name I use when I'm
in chat rooms or ICQ. When I first tried chat, I used the name "Hoggle"
from the movie, "Labyrinth", which seemed fun for the first night, but
the novelty soon wore thin. I think it was the next time I was on I decided
to change my name. I wasn't sure what to, it just had to be different.
The following time I logged into Excite
Talk "Cosmos" was the first thing that came to mind.
I liked the name Cosmos because
when I look up at the sky, I feel safe. Whether it be a dull, cloudy day,
beautifully sunny, or a starry night; I'm being protected or guided in
some way. Like we are all here on this planet doing our best, and out there
is the one who created us; out there in the cosmos.
